| Janet Nava Bandera is an author, lecturer, blogger, and the President of the Bandera Law Firm, PC, with a practice limited to estate planning and charitable giving, as well as assisting small and medium-size business owners with formation and succession planning.
Janet is involved in several local charities including acting as the Chair of the Planned Giving Committee of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, the Ronald McDonald House St. Louis Planned Giving Committee, Moneta Group Charitable Foundation Board and is a board member of the Friends of the Humane Society of Missouri.
Born in Missouri, Janet graduated, magna cum laude from the University of Missouri- St. Louis with a degree in Business Administration and earned her Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law in 1995, graduating cum laude. She is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Illinois and Florida.
Janet lectures on estate planning and charitable giving for local non-profit groups as well as financial services firms and combines her love of travel and meeting new people with her legal experience through an educational blog about legal issues for Americans abroad.
She makes her home in St. Charles County with her husband and their boxer, Amy.
