Representative Genise Montecillo, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis City and St Louis County (District 66) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2010.

Rep. Montecillo was a special education teacher who has taught in the Special School District for 24 years.

Rep. Montecillo is a 1981 graduate of Northwest House Springs High School. She graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education, and earned her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
